Voice…

Voice….

This week I’ve barely used my voice b/c I’ve been sick

I have missed chatting with my mom, my kiddos and my hubby….

I’m taking it easy this weekend trying to get better before my vacation next week….

After this week, and not being able to use my voice I’m realizing something…

It’s amazing to me how much we take for granted having a voice.

There are so many people…..children…..that don’t have a “voice”….

They have no one to speak for them…..they are unable to speak for themselves….

Because no one will listen…..because they’re just children….

How can we help them? What should we do? How can we be their voice?

Standing up for what is right and true.

Being there when no one else is…..

Letting them speak to us…..listening to their voice.

Foster care…..Adoption…..two options that are close to my heart….

Only God knows if they will become a part of my life…..

Yet, I see these two ways as being a voice for those that have none….

Voice….I know I want someone to hear me when I’m speaking….

Not just hear me, but really listen…..

Do I really have that much to say? That’s important?

I know that their voices, if heard and listened to would have much more to say.

Much more important things we should hear….

From their voices…..

May we all take a moment to truly listen to the voices of ones around us

Listen to a voice that no one else may take the time to truly hear…

STOP!
