Help Meet Game Rule #3 ~ To Love Their Children

The most important thing a mother will do for her children is to create an atmosphere of peace and joy by deeply loving their Daddy and being satisfied with life.

God has honored the mother with the position of being the constant trainer of her young children.

A wise woman never expects anyone to serve her, and is therefore never disappointed. She is ready to help, always the giver. By her example, her children learn to cheerfully and energetically serve.

All of us mothers will stand before God one day and give an account of how we trained our children. To love our children is to devote ourselves fully to their training. If we fail here, we fail as a help meet. Husbands go away to work and leave their young children in our care. They trust us to train them up to be all that they can be. If we fail our children, we fail our husband, and we fail God.

The woman who invests in a child’s life will be the one the child loves and with whom the child bonds.

The training of your children is the deepest expression of your love for them.

No mom is perfect, of this I am 100% sure.

Our children are lil blessings from the Lord, and they are wonderful to have in our lives! They also tire us, frustrate us and at times break our hearts.

Yet, we are known to our heavenly Father to do these very same things AND MORE!

Just as we have been shown mercy, forgiveness, and grace, backed by unconditional love; so we must give to our lil blessings.

Great post! I also love the book, Created to be His Helpmeet. It is very practical! I read it after being married twenty years and after having read and studied a lot of marriage books, and I still learned something new and had blind spots revealed! Thanks for linking up with my Marriage Monday series! )

    HI there,
Hopping in from a linky. Great to meet you and for someone so young you have much wisdom. For sure for sure – we mothers are not perfect but thanks to the grace of Jesus we are filled with the spirit to love and nurture our children. If we watch how Jesus does things we can imitate Him – as best as we can.

    Well done.
    Blessings,
    Janis

All of the words in italic are from Debi Pearl’s book “Created to be His Help Meet”. I am learning much from her, but I can not claim the wisdom. Thank you for stoppin by. Blessings!

Found and following through the Matrimonial Mondays blog hop.

I agree with you. What better lesson can we model for our children than to love their father and their Father. :O)

Love covers so much–I agree with Mia on this. Yes, grace. So grateful that His love is laced with grace. This allows mine to be too.

    Hi, dear One
I relate so well with mothers that are not perfect, but when we are there for our children, faults and all, they feel loved and accepted. I have learned to always ask forgiveness when I have done them wrong. It shows them another important lesson in life, asking forgiveness from others and their Heavenly Pappa. Nice seeing your blog again at Ruth’s!
    Much love XX

Yes, a very dear, dear friend once consoled me when I felt I was a horrible mom for having to ask for forgiveness. She made the statement that if I wasn’t willing to apologize and ask for forgiveness, how else were they going to learn? Thank you for stoppin by 😉 Blessings hun!
