Look into my eyes…What do you see

Take a moment and think about where I come from
All that I’ve been taught since I was a little girl
Everything that I’ve known to be “truth”
Differences keep most from welcoming me
Could you look beyond my outside appearance
To reach my heart tucked away inside
Judgement often finds me
For few take the time to see the real me
The me that I must hide deep inside
Freedom is not part of my life
I’m chained to what I know
I often wonder if there is real freedom out there though?
This post was written as part of Compassion Blog Month.
As Compassion bloggers we are working to get 3,160 children sponsored before the end of September.
Would you pray about touching the life of a child today?
We are blessed to sponsor a little girl, Marjorie in Peru. It is such a blessing to our lives to have a little girl to pray for, write and encourage to seek the Lord.

We have been thinking about sponsoring a child for a while, so we just welcomed Cassia into our lives. Very exciting, thank you.

Yes, sadly, freedom is not part of this beautiful girl’s culture. Holy Spirit, please intervene, even right now.
Amen!! Blessings to you and yours!
Thanks for bringing attention to the need!
Of course! Blessings sis!
