Hearts at Home Meets Compassion

As a Hearts at Home bloggers, we take every 3rd Thursday to write on one particular topic throughout the blogging world.

This month we are taking time to highlight one of my favorite ministries, Compassion; which I am also blessed to be a voice for!

Combining these two was a wonderful idea this month, as Jill is on a trip with Compassion right now! (I’m just a tad bit jealous)

It has been so beautiful to watch her share the pictures of the girl they’ve sponsored, and how amazing it must be to be able to meet her face to face!

One day I hope to be able to meet our sponsored girl, Marjorie face to face, to hug her tight showing her the love that we’ve written of in letters is just as real in person!

There is something worth more than anything I can give Marjorie, I pray for her. I know that they are in need of food, clean water, books, etc., but God can supply all of those things AND MORE. So I pray. I pray that God would keep her safe in His hands, that she and her family would come to know that His love is the MOST IMPORTANT thing in their lives. This is crucial, supplying only their physical needs, and not praying for the spiritual needs would not do her or her family justice.

Would you consider changing a child’s life today? At just over a dollar a day (LESS than a CUP of coffee), you can provide for their physical needs, and invest in their spiritual lives through faithful prayers!

  1. I’m so glad you promoted Compassion, surely one of the best Christian ministries in the world helping poor children achieve their God-breathed potential. Bless you for sharing!
