Dear Wife Who Feels Alone

Oh how I wish I could sit and listen…..

Hear each and every word you had to say ….

Just so you wouldn’t feel…….wouldn’t be alone…..

I wish I could hold you while the tears fall down your face when words aren’t enough…..

Just being there so you wouldn’t feel……wouldn’t be alone…..

I wish we lived close so that we could be strong together….

So we could join hands and pray…..

Because God says where 2 or 3 are gathered together in my name there I am in midst of them…..

Being together so we wouldn’t feel…..wouldn’t be alone…..

I wish I could tell you that there’s an end to this feeling…..

Yet I can not…..

For I have not seen an end…..

Throughout my lonely days I strive to put all I am and all I have in my children.

In really difficult periods I cry out and ask God “Why?”

His answer lately has come through song….

Below are the songs that have comforted me during these lonely days.

Know that as you listen, as Patricia said in “PS I Love You”……

“Thing to remember is if we’re all alone, then we’re all together in that too.”

You aren’t alone…..though the feeling is there….we’re never truly alone.

Love and prayers dear sister though we’re far apart, and don’t know each other in this life.

    1. It gets easier as we learn to lean on the Lord and making Him number one. When we learn to find our fulfillment in Him we will begin to feel less alone. Graciously might I recommend my ebook “Unfulfilled”…. It is a free download, simply click on the “My Book” button on my blog. 1. I’m sorry for being trite the other day in chat. You aren’t alone but, my heart breaks at you feeling it. I love ya hun and I’m praying.

  2. I have known this feeling through life. A loneliness. In marriage, outside of marriage. I too have asked why. I don’t normally share posts in the comments section, but feel like I should share this one today: http://www.brownpaperandstrings.com/why/

That person you want to sit with you is already there – You are never alone. Love that He is communicating that to you through song.

  3. I’ve been lonely a time or two myself. I’ll say a prayer for you today. There is an end. The church is a haven for the lonely.
