Thanksgiving Produces Joy

Do you have fun being in love with your husband?

Do you enjoy time together?

Debi takes time to go through some fun she and her husband share ~ tickling, long walks, chasing through the house, etc.

I know for me and my husband, this is not our way of life. Yet, it makes me smile! Their life is full of joy! They are thankful for each other, for their marriage, and for what God has done in their marriage.

Thankfulness produces Joy. <—- Tweet

This is evident in Debi’s sharing of their personal fun times.

Make Love Fun! Be each other’s best friend, helper, playmate! Enjoy your time together!

Debi says, “We have learned that all of life is fun and needs to be shared with our best friend, playmate, and lover. This, then, is the rule of life for wives: Live with thanksgiving, forgiveness, and joy, and enjoy all your moments as if they were your last. Someday, soon enough, they will be.”

How is your list of joy going? Continue on!

Do you see it making a difference in how you see things and how you act?

Allow God to transform you!

Let Him reveal and create thankfulness into joy in you!

  1. I love this post! I tweeted your suggested tweet — because I wholeheartedly agree! Thanksgiving produces Joy! I haven’t been joyful so far this week — I’ve been weighed down with huge burdens. Yet, I realize I have not stopped to THANK GOD for them as I am commanded to do! Thanks for the reminder!
Thanks also for linking up for Marriage Monday!

  2. I so enjoy coming here and visiting! My husband and I text each other–in code because the kids read our phones–so we get creative and often use song titles . . .

    Be blessed.

  3. My husband use to “play” more but now that we are grandparents we tend to play with the grandangels and relax with each other. I think the playing has changed over the years. At times we get very playful, but sitting side by side reading, taking road trips (and we’ve gotten into geo-caching lately) are things we enjoy to do together. The greatest compliment is when our kids tells us that want a marriage like ours – a happy one with the Lord at the helm… Enjoyed this 🙂
