Dates are very important early in a couple’s relationship, but it seems to die off after awhile. I believe that this is the place where couples begin to pull apart. It may be unnoticeable and subtle at first, but over time it will become more evident.
I love going on dates, and each season provides inspiration for fun dates!
Fall has become my favorite time of the year, and with it comes inspiration for a few fun dates that I love. The crisp fall air is invigorating and encourages hand holding and snuggling along the way. 🙂
I hope these few ideas inspire you to go on a date with the one you love.
5 Fun Fall Dates for Couples
1.Apple Picking
The fun includes: searching out your favorite apples, climbing trees to get the perfect one, and yummy baking awaiting you at home!
Psst….My favorite recipe after going apple picking is here, and my second favorite you can find here.Â
2. Hiking
There is nothing quite like hiking a mountain to gaze on a spectacular view with your loved one by your side!
3. Scenic Drive with a Picnic
Grab a blanket, sandwiches, chips and drinks. Take a drive until you find the perfect place! Enjoy the fall colors and crisp air as you live, laugh and love together.
4. Pumpkin Carving
Who says this is only for kids? Make it a competition!
Post your creations on Facebook, Instagram, etc. and have your friends vote for the best!
5. Marshmallow Roasting & Star Gazing
You could even couple this one with a weekend date camping, or just use the fire pit out back.
Grab a star gazing book at the local library or bookstore and find your favorite constellations.
What are your favorite fun fall dates?

What fun and sweet ideas! I’ve found that as my husband and I grow older together that these special times of focusing on each other are so much more tender and sweet. Lovely.
