The vows we make to our husbands are often quickly forgotten. Sometimes it’s just a repeat after the preacher speech because we don’t truly think about what we’re saying.
Have you taken a look at or thought about what your wedding vows were?
This is the day that you stood before God and committed yourself to your husbands.
Today I’m a guest over at A Proverbs 31 Wife, swing by to finish this post.

Yes! My hubby and I just did our 10-year renewal and wrote our own vows and I recited a poem I gave to him before we were married which ended up making great vows :).

I framed mine and my husband’s and they are hanging on our bedroom wall. Unfortunately, I must confess I rarely stop to read them. But I’m going to make a point to do so, since you’ve brought the importance of our vows up and reminded us to take them to heart, my friend. Thanks for linking up at Wedded Wed too! 🙂

That is beautiful! When my husband and I renew our vows and have a “real wedding” I hope to write my own vows since God has truly laid it on my heart the importance of our wedding vows. Thank you for stoppin by and for hosting! Blessings!

We got married last May of 2011 and memorizing our wedding vow really helps both of us especially in times of trials, anger (any negatives things that happens in marriage). Hubby and I always come to ask ourselves, “Is this honoring to God?” Then we revert back to our wedding vow and feel shameful about how stupid we are. Sometimes, if we are so in love (good times) on an ordinary day, we always tell each other to also be loving in bad times and so we can really plan how face these attacks. Let me share our wedding vows to all of you :
I, Mai, take you,, Cary, to be my friend, my lover, the father of my children and my husband. As God unites us in the presence of our family and friends, I give you my firm commitment to be faithful and loyal to you, in sickness and in health, good times or bad, in sadness and in joy. I do promise to love you unconditionally, to help you make your dreams come true and to respect and honor you. I cherish you, my dear Cary for as long as we both shall live.
BE INSPIRED and there’s no harm in trying to memorize yours, IT WILL DEFINITELY CHANGE your approach to your marriage and your relationship with your spouse! 🙂 It works to us so I know it will work to you… or you can post it your room and read it from time to time 🙂
Visiting you from the Happy Wives Club Link Up.

Y’all definitely have it down how to face things that can be very difficult in marriage. If more couples would take this stance in their marriages, I believe that we would see the divorce rate fall. Thank you so much for sharing your story and for stoppin by! Blessings!
