Forgiveness vs. Rejection
Definition: Clearing the record of those who have wronged me and not holding a grudge.
I Will…..
* Be quick to forgive
* Not cover up my own wrongs but will be quick to ask for forgiveness
* Not seek revenge
* Respond kindly to those who hurt me
* Not take up offenses for others
Week One Activities…
(Practicing ~ Being quick to forgive)
Have a family gathering and discuss time and how quickly it slips away.
Choosing to forgive frees up time of frustration and anger, giving way for love to abound!
Week Two Activities….
(Practicing ~ Not covering up my own wrongs but being quick to ask for forgiveness)
Focus on being the example of immediate apology and asking for forgiveness.
That which we wish to teach, we must live out.
Week Three Activities….
(Practicing ~ Not seeking revenge)
During family time ensure everyone truly understands that two wrongs don’t make a right, that revenge brings them down low and will hurt them in the long run too.
Week Four Activities….
(Practicing ~ Responding kindly to those who hurt me)
Kindness confuses those that intentionally hurt us, and raises up strong men and women. Though this is a very hard thing to do, taking the high road and giving kindness when not deserved is true forgiveness

Is this from a certain book or something you’ve come up with? I’d be interested in doing this study.
