In the Old Testament, they received 10 commandments from the Lord God to follow, and in doing them they would be obeying Him.
As wives, we are given a bit shorter list of 8 things God requires of us…..if we do not obey we are guilty of blaspheming God’s Word.
Yikes! That is definitely not something I want to do.
We find our “8 Practical Game Rules” as Debi Pearl calls them, in Titus 2.
Titus 2:3-5
“The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.”
Be sure to continue to follow along as we cover “the game rules”.
Next week, we will cover the first rule…..”To Be Sober”

Popping over from Michelle DeRusha’s place and I’m so glad to now know about your blog! Looks like a great resource. Titus 2 is full of good advice for us, isn’t it? Looking forward to hearing what you have to say.

I love guidance as well, if I know what I am responsible for then it makes it easier for me to focus vs. just trying to figure it out. Thank you for stoppin by! Blessings!
