Dear God,
Children. They are precious in Your sight.
Jesus allowed them to come unto Him. He said we must enter the kingdom, as a child.
A smile to melt all our cares away, a hug that warms our hearts, laughter that lightens our spirits. Oh the “magic” of a child.
Every child is loved. There is no one left behind. Sadly, all children do not know Your love. Haven’t been taught of Your love.
Anger, rejection, hunger, cold, fear…..many are the feelings children know. Love from You, Father isn’t always one of them.
We are called to care for those in need. Those hungry, those weak.
Children. So many to care for all over the world. So many need Your love shown to them.
Across the miles help can come.
An answer to the prayer of a child. A letter, a picture……the words, “I’m your sponsor.”
Move on our hearts Lord, may we reach out and touch a child’s life.
Praying for the remaining 2, 271 children needing sponsors. Will one be yours?

This was a wonderful post. Thank you for linking up for WholeHearted Home Wednesdays at Haven of Rest.
I missed your linkup but hope to catch you next week 🙂 Do you have a button??
Thanks for stoppin by! 🙂 I just updated my button 😉 It’s on the main page of my blog now 😉
My heart goes out to children which is why my husband and I adopted 2 children from overseas. I am a Christian mom blogger from the south. I am orginally from Mobile, Al. but now live in Arkansas. I have lived in the New Orleans area and in GA. It really gets out in all these places. I look forward to following your blog in several ways. I would love for your to check out my blog and follow me at: http://www.recipesforourdailybread.com Blessings, Diane Roark
Yes, children are hurting everywhere. You can look in your hometown and see them. I will swing by your corner too 😉 Thanks for stoppin by! Blessings!
Beautiful letter. Very sad that it has to be. One thing that really bothers me is this. Children should be taken care of and respected. Sad that it isn’t always so. Thanks for linking up with us today!!
We’ve been trying to do more locally. There are children in need everywhere.
That is very true! Bless you for helping children!
Awesome! It’s so exciting to be a part of this generous community of Compassion advocates—people like you! Bless you for caring about these precious ones and writing about them so beautifully.

This is beautiful! It brings tears to my eyes. I know there are hundreds and hundreds of kids left behind in my DD’s orphanage. It is heartbreaking. Thanks for sharing.
That it is. There are so many, yet it is wonderful when even one is taken care of! For that one matters just as much as the many others! Thank you for stoppin by!
Great letter. Thanks for sharing at The Fun In Functional!

What a beautiful letter! and very hard to write I imagine…
Thank you for prompting me to pray for my compassion child!
It was not easy, but God laid His words on my heart to get started. For that I am forever thankful! Blessings!
Really nice.
Nothin’ like writing a letter to God 😉
This was a hard letter for me to write! I’m glad you’re joining in! You are so right–every child is loved and precious to God.
It breaks my heart that we have to write letter like this, that there is so much hurt, pain and hunger in so many children’s lives. I’m so thankful to have seen your post and that I jumped in! 🙂 Blessings!
Thanks for linking up! 🙂 Glad you jumped in too!
Absolutely girly! 🙂 I am too! 🙂
This is beautiful! I am so struggling to write my letter to God. Did you have trouble too? My heart just breaks. These children are so precious to Him, to us….I guess as a mom we know too well how the families of these littles ones caught in desperate poverty must feel.
Thank you so much for sharing. Hope you will add it to the Compassion Blogger link up this week!

At first I wondered I would talk to God about the children, but then He reminded me of His own words. I’m so thankful for Him, without Him my words hold no meaning. I added my link to the link up 😉 Blessings!
There was a reason said “it’s better to have a millstone tied around your neck and be thrown into the depths of the sea than to offend one of these little ones.” I know God’s heart weeps and his anger flares whenever a child is mishandled. Thank you for doing your part. Visiting from Be Not Weary today and glad I did.
Yes, so very true! I don’t feel I’m doing my part, but I’m thankful to be a part. Thank you for stoppin by! Blessings!
