Help Meet Practical Rule #2 ~ To Love Their Husbands

This particular chapter in Debi Pearl’s book “Created to be His Help Meet”, is one that I wish she had added to.

Much good can be found here, and some I will share in a moment, but I feel there is so much more to loving our husbands.

I will be sharing a “How To” love your husband post on February 11th. This should give you enough time to brighten up Valentine’s Day FOR HIM 🙂 It isn’t all about chocolates and roses girlys, he is the other half of the Valentine remember. 😉

Loving him means putting his needs before your own. I am a minister. If you are a wife, you, too, are a minister. Our ministry is directed toward our husbands and then our children. We were, and are, created to be help meets. Every day and every night we need to be ready to minister to his needs. 

 ~ God’s ultimate goal for you is to meet your man’s needs.

   ~ God’s original intention was that a woman would spend her life helping her husbands fulfill his dreams and ambitions. 

   A man’s concept of love and marriage is different from a woman’s….

   When a woman is not interest in his most consuming passion, he feels that she is not interested in him. When a woman just “allows, cooperates, and tolerates,” it leaves a man feeling sick at heart. If, to a man, sex were just copulation, he would make his deposit and be satisfied, but to him it is intimacy, a merging of spirits, a way of saying, “I love you….I need you….I like you.” A man’s most basic needs are warm sexual love, approval, and admiration. 

A woman’s half commitment makes a man feel incomplete and unloved.

No woman really loves her husband if she does not seek to please him in this important area. If you are not interested in sex, then at least be interested in him enough to give him good sex. 

   God created a man with a regular need for a woman, and God commanded a man’s wife to see to it that his need is met by her!

When you truly love and reverence your husband, the very thought of him loving the likes of you should thrill your soul and make you long to cause him pleasure. 

*****Exceptions*****

Anal sex is a homosexual act, and no normal man or woman desire this. The use of pornography has increased this abomination. It is a filthy practice and medically dangerous. God, the master creator, made a “natural use” of the woman for sexual expression. 

Romans 1:26-28

“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient”
