Helpful, encouraging ideas here. Yes… Our mission field is most accurately described as the spot right under our feet.

Thank you for hosting. I am number 61 this week — How Little Money Can You Live on?
Bet I’m not the only person who has asked myself that. The crucial part of getting the answer is this — there is no easy solution, no series of quick tricks that can solve the money saving issue. You have to look at your individual life, family, and situation, and make the sustainable changes that work for you.

Too funny, I just wrote about this last week, “7 Ways to Reach the World without Every Leaving Home” @ http://www.richfaithrising.blogspot.com. Seems God’s heart to reach others is spreading to many! May the world know the goodness of God, through the acts we do both globally and through those we touch locally!

What a great post. I’ve spent 5 years on the mission field, gone on a number of short-term trips, and co-lead outreach trips to foreign countries, but you are so right….we are all missionaries and there are things for us to do wherever God calls us. What a great list of ideas. Thanks for this good post and for the link party. Bless you.

As a former missionary, I loved your list!! I just came home from the country of Latvia in the Baltics last April because of health problems. I miss it so much and if God wills it to be I will go back! But for now I minister through my blog 🙂 But you are right, our mission field is in our own back yard!! One church I was in had over their door way as you exited their building “You are now entering your mission field…” So true! It is OUTSIDE the church! Not in the building! Love your ideas. And also thank you for sharing a link to one of my posts on your facebook this week. Blessings friend!

I’ve seen a few churches that have that as you exit their building, it definitely sets a different spirit in your heart as you leave the church. Thank you so much for stoppin by! Blessings!
