Since coming back from vacation, I’ve changed my daily blogging routine a bit. I am now linking up at night, after my kiddos go to bed. When I was linking up in the morning I found myself doing some in the morning, checking for others to be up and running at lunch, and again after they went to bed. I was wasting time that I could have been spending time with my lil blessings. So I made the change this month.
In doing this, I’ve noticed my numbers change a bit….less comments…..less visits…..etc.
I have never watched them in worry, and typically only look every couple months. So I’m not concerned, I just noticed this change.
My lil corner has always been in God’s hands. I’ve always said that He will bring those that “need” this corner, it’s not about me. I love knowing this, for it makes the numbers game (that so many bloggers worry about) unnecessary. It all rests in His hands.
I have come to love this song, it says it all about my lil corner here.

At the Allume conference this past fall one of the speakers (Logan from Life for Dessert) said we are called to be fishers but God provides the men. Putting family first and writing what & when you are called is your primary job. God will bring the people who need to hear it. That part you need not worry about!

I’m surprised it’s made a change in your numbers, because for me it doesn’t really make any difference when a blog post goes up – I’ll open them when I get to the notice in my email. 🙂 That said, since I work nites 4-5 nites/wk, I get nighttime posts bright and “early”. The only bummer is, I don’t get to see the comments that might come later. 🙂 Thank you for putting your family first! and reminding us all of how loosely we should be holding any stewardship the Lord gives to us. 🙂
