Marissa is a follower of the King. She is stumbling through the process of learning how to live the life God designed for her, as a wife to a strong Christian leader and mother to two energetic boys. Marissa understands the overwhelming pressure moms feel to be the best mom their kids could ever dream up, yet she strives to remember God doesn’t ask us to do anything that will break us. In the few moments she can have to herself, Marissa enjoys reading stories with strong characters (think Anne of Green Gables), watching corny TV (Gilmore Girls) or just browsing the web, especially Pinterest.
Marissa’s corner, Reading List provides a place to find reviews of books from the perspective of a Christian mommy, and Marissa shares her take on many of the books she reads – particularly fiction, Christian fiction/non-fiction, Christian studies/devotionals, children’s books and more. She invites friends and followers to join in the discussion. Reading List is also home to the Cozy Book Hop, a chance to share your own thoughts on books once a week.
