Five Minute Friday

Thank You….FMF

1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking.
2. Link back here and invite others to join in.
3. And then absolutely, no ifs, ands or buts about it, you need to visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments. Seriously. That is, like, the rule. And the fun. And the heart of this community..

Oh and Ahem, if you would take pity and turn off comment verification, it would make leaving some love on your post that much easier for folks!

OK, are you ready? Please give us your best five minutes on:::

Thank You…

GO

How do you thank someone properly when they’ve touched your heart in a way that only “family” can?

Yet they are not blood family, but the bond that brings you together surpasses that knowledge….

Blood does not make family…..it’s love and fun times…..gathering together and laughing….

Knowing that you’re there for each other through thick and thin……through laughter and pain

Thank you……it seems so very inadequate…..just two simple words……for someone who touched my heart and my soul….

Who made me feel like I was back home again…..

Thank you does not seem enough…..

My heart cries out that it isn’t enough…..

I haven’t felt that alive in a long time….

The food, fun and games wrapped up in laughter…….bring back memories of home….

It makes these holidays a little brighter…..

Thank you……from the bottom of my heart for making my world a little brighter last night dear friend

I love you and thank is just not enough……

XOXOXO

  1. Isn’t wonderful to have friends like that? I have a friend like that, too…and I’m so thankful, since being so far from home, she makes me feel at home. Thank you for linking up! (((HUGS)))

  2. Good friends don’t require thank yous. They just know. My best friend is my sister in Christ. She is the one that God brought to me because He knew I needed someone. He also knew she needed someone too. We spend hours talking of God, our husbands, our kids. We don’t have to talk. We just know. You are right sometimes families are not blood.

    1. That is true, as a friend I know that I don’t require thank yous, yet my girl really touched my heart this year. So much that thank you didn’t even seem like enough. She is the best friend you could ask for! 🙂 Thank you for stoppin by 😉 Blessings!

  3. This is so sweet and the pictures just top it all off! Sounds like you were loved well by a sweet friend on Thanksgiving. That is such a blessing and your smile has that blessing written all over it! Just popped by from Lisa-Jo’s on the Friday!

    1. The pictures weren’t even planned! Her hubby just was snappin them, and when I saw our Five Minute Friday prompt I knew what I was gonna write about and knew God had him take those pix for a reason! He is so good! Thank you for stoppin by! Blessings! 🙂

  4. I often want to say so much more than Thank you. There are many times when it seems that just those words are not enough to express the joy and appreciation in my heart. God is so good to provide us the people in our lives that we need 🙂 Stopping by from the R & R Weekend Link-up, have a blessed day!!
