Boldness
Definition ~ “Confidence that what I have to say or do is true, right and just.”
I Will….
* Not be afraid to speak the truth
* Keep a clear conscience
* Support others when they are right
* Be willing to stand alone
* Speak with humility
Week One Activities
(working on ~ Not being afraid to speak the truth)
* Take time to sit down with each family member and have them tell you honestly how they feel about you and what they would like to see done differently in the home.
* Be sure you are ready for this, it will be humbling. Do not let it become an argument. This is to teach them to be honest with you!
Week Two Activities
(working on ~ Keeping a clear conscience)
* Encourace and teach the family that speaking the truth frees them from burdens.
* Ask that everyone tells a parent (or spouse) when they have anything they are concerned about.
Week Three Activities
(working on ~ Supporting others when they are right)
* Encourage and train the family to support each other, especially when others are accusing them to be in the wrong.
* Teach them to defend their friends as well.
* Be sure to do the same with your children.
Week Four Activities
(working on ~ Being willing to stand alone)
* During family time show the many times in the Bible that Jesus and His disciples stood alone.
* Encourage and train that standing alone for God’s ways will be hard, but rewarding!
Week Five Activities
(working on ~ Speaking with humility)
* Be sure to teach and show how to speak humbly, in truth but not haughtily.
* Showing kindness, grace and mercy while speaking confidently is key!

Excellent. This is so much easier to accomplish when love is in the heart. What a beautiful trait to teach your children.
