Here we go!
Now, set your timer, clear your head, for five minutes of free writing without worrying about getting it right.
1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking.
2. Link back here and invite others to join in.
3. And then absolutely, no ifs, ands or buts about it, you need to visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments. Seriously. That is, like, the rule. And the fun. And the heart of this community..
Oh and Ahem, if you would take pity and turn off comment verification, it would make leaving some love on your post that much easier for folks!
OK, are you ready? Please give us your best five minutes on:::
Wide…
Wide….arms open wide…
My children runing up to me wanting to hug me…
How often do I open my arms wide vs. saying wait just a minute?
How would I feel if God was like that with me?
He was busy and told me to come back later?
He didn’t have time to hold me, when I was hurting, when I needed a shoulder to cry on….
Wide….arms open wide….
Jesus’ arms spread open wide for me…..for you….
He willing let them nail his arms open wide on the tree….
Wide…..arms open wide….
The picture of a mother, a Father and a Son spreading their arms open wide
All holding, reaching out for another, love is opening your arms wide
Allowing the one who needs you to come close, to share your space
Showing love to another that is in need of having arms open wide for them
How different would our lives be if we were to always open our arms wide for those we love? Those in need?
Thank you Father for opening Your arms wide always for me
Thank you Savior for opening Your arms wide for me on that tree
Thank you mom for always opening Your arms wide for me
Thank you kiddos for always running asking me to open my arms wide for you!

What a great 5 minute friday post. I loved it and it is so true…sometimes we just have to stop and give the time to give love back. We get so caught up in all the things we think we need to that we don’t slow down. And you are right…god want more from us than that….so stopping to show some love is so important.
Stopping over from aloha hop. = )

Visiting from FMF. This touched my heart, and made me think “How would I feel if Jesus said “wait a minute”. I think I now feel challenged today to open my arms wide!
