Sometimes we try to forget the bad things that happen in our lives, it’s just easier to move on that way.
When strangers come into your country, taking control of planes, holding hundreds of fellow Americans……you never forget.
Watching those strangers drive our planes, with our loved ones on them into two towers…..you never forget.
Seeing hours of TV coverage of our brave Firefighters and Policemen go into the rubble, that might shift or collapse any minute…..you never forget.
Tear stained eyes gazing upon another plane crashing into our Pentagon…..you never forget.
Hearing…..another plane was taken, but fellow Americans took it back. Landing in a field, giving their lives, so that more lives would not be lost….you never forget.
Listening to the cries, seeing the tears in each other’s eyes, you know we never will forget.
11 years…..51 years…..we will never forget.
Forever….I will never forget.

Still ache for those so close to tragedy. Thank you for the reminders today.

I remember too. Glad you shared and linked up. It’s a hard day, praying for those who lost loved ones on this day 11 years ago.
Yes, it is hard 🙁 I can’t imagine having lost someone specifically. Prayers for their families always, the day after the must be hard. Yesterday we all remember with them, today we all “move on” and they aren’t be able to! 🙁
I remember with you… and my prayers are with the families that mourn on this day in an even greater way than I do. Thank you for your beautiful post. stopping by from Mercy Ink link up. have a blessed day
