My daughter was surprised and thrilled to see the package I received recently. Upon opening it, she found out that we were going to review the brand new Hearts 4 Hearts Doll, Lauryce.

When I came across Hearts 4 Hearts, I fell in love with their mission. Every doll that is purchased provides money for children in the country represented by the doll. These monies are donated to their partner World Vision, which provide food, water, school and medical supplies to children in need.
Lauryce represents the city of New Orleans. She comes with a diary, which tells of her family and how they went through Hurricane Katrina and lived to tell about it. The diary details a little girl’s dreams and life!
The Hearts 4 Hearts dolls are dressed in the proper attire for their culture, and are outfitted with accessories that are unique to them. They stand at 14 inches tall, have poseable vinyl bodies and have quality rooted hair.
Each girl comes with a tag which includes a special code to be used online at Hearts 4 Hearts. Once registered your daughter can design her own page, play games, attend an international shopping experience, and much more! She can also look through all of the other girls available, and read their stories.
I love that Hearts 4 Hearts has taken the joy of playing with dolls, and made it so much more important! By helping children in other countries as well as teaching girls about the needs that others face!
My daughter has thoroughly loved playing with Lauryce, and since reading her diary has begun praying for the people of New Orleans. It is amazing how when made aware of the difficulties others face, children are moved to compassion. She has already chosen the next Hearts 4 Hearts Girl she would like to have!
