I am so very thankful for each new day
Starting over with a clean slate
A new day with no mistakes in it
What a true blessing that is!
Through the Lord and His reminding of those thoughts
is what has been getting me through
the last week or so of difficulties with peanut.
Yesterday at church my Pastor ended his
sermon series on dreams.
I wanted to hear the end of the series badly,
and my husband had to be away for work.
I made it clear to my children,
that I really wanted to hear the sermon
and would they please be extra good for me today?
Thankfully they were!
Praise the Lord!
I have many dreams,
many that I can not fulfill right now,
but am waiting for the Lord’s timing to do so.
Right now the dream I am working to fulfill,
is that of a virtuous wife with a
quiet and meek spirit.
That is a big dream for me,
especially the later part.
Dreams aren’t easy.
They take time, patience
and determination AND LOTS OF PRAYER!
I had lost sight of my dreams over the last
couple weeks due to difficulty.
Not seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.
Yesterday God used a friend
(our Praise & Worship Pastor)
to remind me that the only way to
overcome what I was going through
was through Jesus.
I had been trying lots of things,
not just laying it down at His feet.
So with each new day,
I pray I will remember
it’s a new day with no mistakes in it.
Then lay down the day and any
struggles that will be had
at my Savior’s feet!
WE WILL OVERCOME!
