Wisdom Wednesdays w/ Link Up

Our Family 2013 Focus with Wisdom Wednesday Link Up

This is a new year…..a fresh start….each day, a new day with no mistakes in it.

Last year I started the new year by writing a family focus statement, listing the areas that I wanted us to focus on and a daily schedule throughout the year.

This weekend, I was excited to do it again. I chose to focus on less, to encourage us to do better in each area.

In 2013, I have prayerfully decided that I will not be able to visit all of the blog posts linked up each week. I’m going to miss reading each of your blog posts, but it is something I must do for the good of my family. They are the most important ministry to me.

Don’t lose hope yet! I will be sharing EACH post on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and G+ to send traffic your way! I believe this will be MORE beneficial for y’all than just having me stop by and comment.

I pray you understand and will swing by corners as my alone/down time may permit! 🙂

Thank you so much for linking up to last week’s Aloha Friday Blog Hop!! I’m following you.

If you have time, we’d love to have you come and link up to the Aloha Friday Blog Hop if you haven’t already! (Thank you so very much if you’ve already linked up, I truly appreciate it!!)

  2. Good for you for putting your family first. Thanks for continuing with the party– but I figured out too, that I could spend all my time reading GOOD blog posts, or I could pick and choose, sometimes randomly. We can’t be everywhere or do everything!

  3. Happy New Year Misty! Bless you girl! I like how you are looking at the year – eyes open wide with anticipation and direction. Have a fabulous day 🙂

  4. Very good choice! One thing I have seen is that blogging – just like anything else can be so good – but it can also eat up more time than we can afford to give it. 🙂 I look forward to all the new changes. 🙂

    1. Yes, my family must be more my priority this year. I loved reading everyone’s posts, but it took up a lot of time. I can’t stay up all hours like some because I get sick if I don’t get enough sleep 🙁 Love ya girly!

  5. Thank you for your post and for hosting. I totally understand your plan to not read each post linked to your site every time since, as you so well said, family is first! Have a blessed 2013 and may the reality of Christ in your life be more than evident in you this new year.
