Decisiveness vs. Procrastination

Definition: The ability to recognize key factors and finalize difficult decisions

 

 

I Will….

* Not look back

* Do what I say

* Make the right decision and stick to it

* Look at things from more than one point of view before making up my mind

* Not give in to peer pressure

 

Week One Activities

(Teaching ~ Not look back)

Work together to make decisions, via prayer and discussion

Teaching to let God handle the outcome and leave it in His hands and not look back

 

Week Two Activities

(Teaching ~ Do what I say)

Once receiving directions from parents and/or God do what you’re directed

 

Week Three Activities

(Teaching ~ Make the right decision and stick to it)

Go to God’s word….find His stance and know its 100% right and then get to it!

 

Week Four Activities

(Teaching ~ Look at things from more than one point of view before making up my mind)

Take the time to break down a discussion from all sides, even if you know what’s right

Show kiddo’s how to see all sides before deciding what to do

 

Week Five Activities

(Teaching ~ Not give in to peer pressure)

Teach to go through all steps from weeks 1-4 before doing what their friends want to do
