Grasp…
I find myself picturing a woman on her knees…..this woman is me….
I am reaching…..always reaching…..wanting to grasp Him
His love…..His forgiveness….His grace
I am always short of reaching the place I want to be.
The place of what I see as “perfection”.
I am always in need of reaching out and grasping Him
For in Him alone do I find the strength to make it through another day.
His love lifts me up, His forgiveness lightens my soul.
His mercy and grace bring me to my knees.
I am so unworthy, yet each time I reach out to Him.
His arms are reaching out to me. Grasping hold of my hand once again.
How thankful I am for Him always being there.
For carrying me when I am unable to walk on my own.
For never leaving me nor forsaking me.
For grasping me whenever I reach out to Him.
Grasp…..reach out and grasp……His hand is there waiting for you.
I know this to be true. For me and for you.

Very nice post.
Such a sweet post friend. So thankful that we can reach out to Him knowing that He has reached down to us first. So thankful for our faithful and loving Father. Thanks so much for sharing! Blessings!
Yes it is wonderful that we can grasp Him when we need Him! Blessings!
For carrying me when I am unable to walk on my own – AMEN!
🙂 Isn’t that a beautiful picture of our heavenly Father! Blessings!
So true that we will never be able to reach Him on our own. So thankful that he reaches down to us!
Amen! 🙂
Oh so true, our desire for perfection. I guess it’s a “soul remembering” of who we were originally created to be. I love the difference between “strive” and “grasp” and your words penned that beautifully. Yes, I too want to grasp His hand and hold tightly to the depths of His love for me. Blessings to you this day! (visiting from FMF)
Yes, perfection will not be attained, but we can reach out and grasp His hand when we fall short! Thanks for stoppin by! Blessings!
