Throughout our lives we face different fears. Fear of rejection, fear of the unknown, fear of death, etc. They come in all shapes and sizes, all at different times.
Right now I am dealing with a fear that has me praying and working harder than ever before.
Fear. God has not given us a spirit of fear. So. I.MUST.face.the.fear. I must spend time on my knees. I must claim God’s word.
I must rely on Him.
Fear. That I am not enough. Enough for her, for him. So I must accept that His strength is perfect. I must choose to lean on Him.
I must rely on Him.
Fear. That brings me to my knees. On my knees, I weep. So I must cry out to my God. I must be willing to take His hand.
I must rely on Him.
Fear. That longs to take over me. That takes away my joy. So I must stand up! I must stand tall!
I must rely on Him.
Fear. Such a little word, that we allow so much power. My God is POWERFUL!
On Him I must rely!
My fear will be fought. Daily. For we are constantly at battle. I will take up my sword and armed with His word I will stand!
I can claim the victory already, for I know who is on my side. My God! He is mighty to save!
My fear. Inadequacy. For her. For him. My precious peanut and boo.
My fear will be defeated!
For my hope is in the Lord!

I am currently living in a state of fear and worry. Trying to remember that He is with me always. I pray you also know He is with you!

Fear is a killer. It kills us slowly physically as well as mentally. And it can kill our relationship with Christ. The only thing I can comfort you with is give what you fear to Christ and walk away. Rid yourself of it by giving it to Him but DO rely on Him by not thinking of it again. I often think that if we wallow in the fear bringing it up before ourselves to contemplate over and over again then we haven’t really trusted God to take care of it in the first place.
