Glass Dharma Review & Giveaway

Have you noticed the plastic taste left in your mouth when you drink from a straw? How about the paper taste from a recycled paper straw?

I like to use straws, especially when I’m out and about and I was not the one washing the dishes. I found a new straw company ~ Glass Dharma!

After contacting them I was sent a few straws for review. All different diameters, lengths and designs!

My favorite straw I received from them was their 9.5×12 Beautiful Bend. I loved that the straw bent towards me and I found that the diameter was perfect!

My second favorite was their 7×6.25″ Decorative Dots straw, the diameter of this straw fits the popular plastic cups with screw top lids and straws, though the height is a few inches short for these cups. If you have one of these cups I’m sure your straw is kind of gross. Glass Dharma has cleaning brushes for their straws! What a huge bonus! This straw also worked wonderfully for sipping coffee. Beware the liquid will still be hot, even if the straw is not!

The other straws I reviewed were the 9.5×9″ Amber

and the 12×9″ Simple Elegance.

I found that personally the diameter of 12mm was too large for me. The 9.5mm was perfect, but I liked the Beautiful Bend straw better than the Simple Elegance.  They are beautiful and function wonderfully just as the previous two, just not perfect for me!

I love that I have no after taste when using these straws! The fact that they are sustainable, reusable, durable, dishwasher safe and easy to clean are all bonuses for me! Glass Dharma has a Lifetime Guarantee against breakage, so their straws are risk free for you!

Thank you Glass Dharma for allowing me the opportunity to review your straws!

I am thrilled to announce that Glass Dharma is sponsoring a giveaway here! One of y’all will receive a $25 gift certificate that will be emailed to you! Be sure to enter to win below! Thank you again Glass Dharma!

  1. I’d pick the sort straws for the kids too. I wonder how durable these are. I’ve replaced almost all plastic with glass or stainless steel now, but I’m always a bit worried about the glass breaking.

  2. I have always wanted to try a glass straw! Plastic is supposed to be so bad for you to use and put in your mouth and everything. I think i would like the bendy straw too; it seems useful.
