I love to just write a simple post on Saturdays…..I hope you enjoy my random thoughts too
Today we are planning to go blueberry picking much of the morning.
Tonight we will pick up the French Exchange Student that we are hosting for the next three weeks. I do not know any french. :/ If you would keep us in prayer as we begin this new adventure, I would greatly appreciate it! My prayer is that we will show God’s love to her while she is here. My children are much younger (she is 15 and mine are 9 and 7), but I am looking forward to them learning about France and their ways!
I am going to be changing the format of Friday’s here. I want to change it from “Finally Friday” to “Friend Friday”. I hope to begin hosting Guest Bloggers starting in the next week or two. If you are interested please send me an email, I’d love to chat! I will be working up some guidelines for guest posting this weekend.
I will also probably have a post on Sunday this weekend (I do not normally post on Sundays), but I want to share my mission statement and future ministry goals with y’all. I would love to chat about them with you and hear your thoughts!
Praying you have a blessed weekend friends!

I hope the teen is a blessing to you and that you can plant LOTS of godly seed in her heart. So happy for you. And it’s a bit brave to take on one of these challenges in our present days. May the peace of our Lord pour and pour over your home.
Thank you for your prayers! She is very sweet and my peanut is loving having a “big sister”. I see tears at the end of this three weeks already after one day. Thank you for stoppin by! Blessings!
Looking forward to seeing what your “Friend Friday” is going to be. I’ll be back! Hope you enjoyed your berry picking. Prayers for your new adventure. (I recently heard that France is lately becoming a surprisingly fertile new ground for the truth of Christ to be sown. Hungry hearts…)
🙂 I am excited to get it started 😉 We didn’t actually end up going blueberry pickin yesterday morning. We got things ready for our exchange student and the kiddos went to my MIL’s for a while. I got some quiet mommy (cleaning) time lol! We are very excited to be shining Christ’s light to our guest! Thank you for the prayers! They are GREATLY appreciated! Thanks for stoppin by! Blessings!
Hey, it’s ok if you don’t know any French…she’s there to learn English! My advice as a former French teacher is to just try to speak slowly and watch how many idioms you speak with. Honestly, she probably has great English since the foreign language programs are so good in Europe.
She has been speaking English for about 3 years, and she is very good! My peanut loves her! Thanks for stoppin by 😉 Blessings!
