The entire Fruit of the Spirit series has been moved to my new blog launching Jan. 1st, 2014. I hope you’ll stop by here to read this post after the new year.
What is Faith?
Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Without faith we would be prone to believe only that which we see. Therefore eliminating belief in God, heaven and salvation; even the wind requires belief without sight.

Isn’t it? It’s been amazing to me to see how God reveals ways to me for us to increase the fruits of the Spirit in our family. God is so good! 🙂 Blessings and love sis!

Know that your family loves you, even if their actions or words don’t speak it.
~ We must remember that our human nature tends to base love on feelings, but that is not an accurate gauge.
SUCH A GOOD reminder, especially in times of conflict, or sleepless nights, or when one or the other is under great stress. No excuse for it when we say we have Christ leading the way, but sometimes our dusty selves get the better of us and the sin in us pours out. Thanks for sharing…

Oh yes, there have been many times in my life that my sin has poured out instead of choosing to remind myself that my family loves me. This post is written to myself so much. Thanks for stoppin by Sheila! Blessings!

Hi there, I really needed to read this post this morning. Have had to lay out the trust mat for my 18 year old and as much as she has never given me reason to doubt her, it seems she thinks she is grown up now and knows everything. Sigh… I will be trusting the Lord in faith with my precious daughter.
God bless
Tracy

It’s so hard when they grow up and think they know it all, when they’re so ready to spread their wings and fly, not realizing how little they really know. Our 17 yr old just left for college last week, and it has been hard to watch him “spread his wings and fly”. Praying that you receiving the strength and faith you need for this difficult time. Blessings!
