This post has been moved to my new blog which launches on January 1st, 2014. I hope you’ll swing by this link after the new year to read this post.
Longsuffering in Life
As humans we often struggle with the wrongs done unto us. We speak of life being unfair.
Yet, as Christians we already know that life will probably be this way at some time in our lives.

🙂 I’m working through all the fruits of the spirit that way! I think it’s important to exhibit it at home in order to do so outside of the home. Blessings hun!

Thanks for the post and the link up. I really like what you said in your first point – “pick up and move on.” We have recently been through a situation that has given us the opportunity to do just that. The old British war-time motto has been a help – “Keep Calm and Carry On.” Just forgive, love and move on! Amen! Have a blessed day.

“God is longsuffering toward us.” I give thanks! I must be a trial to Him some days! 😉

I don’t hear longsuffering talked about very often. I’m glad you addressed it. Your discussion of exhibiting it to our families is especially useful give how often we make mistakes with them! Thanks!

I honestly hadn’t really thought about longsuffering in regards to our families, until I wrote this post. It truly is amazing how God works in me through what He calls me to write about. Thank you for stoppin by! Blessings!

This is a great message. It may be easy to get suffering and the producing of perseverance confused here with longsuffering…I almost read right over this. I’m glad I stopped. I’m passing this on today to a friend.
Sometimes people get stuck in hurtful situations and don’t know how to let go and move on. I think this may help them. Thanks for the link up.

Yes, in the midst of hurtful situations you can be blinded as to how we are truly to deal with it. This post was an eye opener for me too. I’m thankful you were able to think of someone that might need this reminder. Praying for your friend. Thank you for stoppin by, sharing and linking up! Blessings!

Longsuffering. That is not a word we all want to name and claim. Thanks for the gentle reminder. Beautifully written.

Yes, this was a difficult post to write because it truly isn’t something we often think of. It isn’t comfortable, so we avoid it. God definitely spoke to my heart through writing this one. How often I only want what is comfortable, and just avoid the uncomfortable things. Thank you for stoppin by and for your kind words! Blessings!
