Be sure to checkout the giveaway for a Leslie Monroe’s new eBook, “Forgive Yourself” here

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Have you ever wanted to change the world for God?
Desired to give up all just to serve Him?
That’s where I am. Right. Now.
Yet, giving up all and leaving the US doesn’t seem to be part of my husband’s plans. Not right now at least.
So, how do I give up all to change the world for God, from my home in the US of A?
Currently I am Ministering By…
Writing.
My hands are for His use. It is for His glory that I write.
Foster Care.
I’m in the beginning stages of helping with a new program that’s launching in the fall.
New/Future Ministries
God has given a big dream to a fellow sister and I. We are very excited with what God has laid on our hearts, and are looking forward to stepping out. All in God’s timing, with His will and direction for a new ministry.
Foster Care.
My husband and I are praying about the possibility of becoming foster parents.
Big Brother/Big Sister.
This is also a program that I’ve been looking into.
I long to truly make a difference, and live life more radically for Christ.
I’m continually seeking God’s will for me in serving Him.
What step have you taken to live life radically for Christ?
    My blog and the books I’m working on are born out of wanting to serve Him instead of just do my own thing. If we could drop everything and do that, we would. However, we have some things to “tie up” here first. But overseas work is calling me in a big way. I believe He is preparing me now. Kim
      Yes, taking care of that which He’s given us here, is key. I don’t want to leave behind things He’s brought my way. May God direct you where He has you to go next! Blessings!
    I love the way your plan to serve, instead of just waiting for service to fall into your lap. God will call you to serve in different ways at different seasons of your life.
    We were foster parents and later adoptive parents. There is such a need for support for those children who need love and care. Thank you for reaching out.
      If I don’t plan, I find I don’t do :/ Personally I need a schedule. I am looking forward to what God does with my family! 🙂 Thanks for stoppin by! Blessings!
    You are just like Joseph! You will shine and be faithful wherever God has placed you! Although I wanted to go overseas as a missionary when I was a young adult, I am very content to stay here in the states as a pastor’s wife, lol! He doesn’t seem to be calling us to go anywhere else right now so we will serve where we are.
    We did foster care for awhile and they are always needing foster parents! Thanks for hosting today.
      I am striving to serve where I am, and where God calls me. 🙂 Thank you for the encouragement and kind words! Blessings!
    I’m right there with you – ready to give up all for His name’s sake. 🙂 And while we wait on the Lord, I’m blogging about that need for overseas workers and for missions education even at home. I read something the other day about how God is less interested in what we’re doing for Him and more interested in how we’re being with Him. So, my plan for now is to focus on the being. 🙂
      Amen! Waiting on the Lord for guidance for His will in our lives! While we’re waiting though we serve! I love what you shared! Just being with Him! 🙂 Thanks for sharing and stoppin by! Blessings!
