Cherished Things

1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking
2. Link back here and invite others to join in.
3. Please visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments. That is like the one rule we all really care about. For reals.

OK, are you ready? I’ve had this word on my heart for you all week. Usually I’m wondering what the prompt will be right up until nearly midnight myself. But this week – this week I think a few of you at least need this word…

Cherished…

GO

What does it mean to be cherished?

Cherished memories of loved ones gone to heaven….

Cherished loved ones we hold close as time passes quickly……

Cherished articles that bring back memories from long ago….

Cherished photos that make memories feel alive…..

Cherished to me is holding onto something so tightly, tight so that you can barely breathe….

For fear of letting go before your loved ones fade……your memories fade away….

Cherished is also how God feels toward me….

He cherishes time with me…..

In prayer……

In His Word……

He holds me close……

Walking always by my side…..

Even when I walk away……

He is never far away……….

Cherished….

God with me…..

Me with God……

Loved ones forever in my memory…..

Loved ones close by in my life…..

So nice of a reminder to be aware of what is cherished. Also a reminder to stay aware and nurture what we cherish.

Hi and happy Friday! Thank you for such a sweet reminder of how sweet it is to feel cherished and to cherish others. My most cherished “thing” is the Presence of the Lord. When I can remember, embrace, and really grasp He is with me ALWAYS… everything becomes something to be cherished! Thanks for sharing and have a blessed weekend.

Oh yes, having things that we cherish around us is such a blessing! The Lord is always near, never far so we will always have at least one cherished person near us! May we never forget that! Blessings!
